What online marketing tools do you use to build your landing pages? Are you still heavily involved into coding and customizing to make the page look professionally designed and optimized for conversions?
If you love to code and have the tech know-how required to do so, I’m not here to stop you. For those of you, who’re looking for easier ways to build conversion optimized and mobile responsive landing pages without touching a line of code, the following three tools will be a blast.
Things have changed a lot in the online world the last couple of years. WordPress looks a lot fancier, tons of new plugins and applications were developed to enhance a website’s look & feel, new marketing tools were launched to allow non-techie people to create websites with a few clicks, etc.
Today, marketers can build websites and landing pages without IT developers and designers. Furthermore, they can use proven templates to A/B split test different marketing campaigns and strategies.
And what are some of the biggest benefits?
- More Time Where It Matters: Instead of wasting your valuable time on learning CSS and HTML, fixing bugs and testing different layouts, you can focus on increasing sales and profits.
- Less Stress: If you’re an entrepreneur or small business owner, you know how important it is to have the right marketing systems in place to be able to run your business the best way possible. The last thing you want is some weird IT problems.
- Better Resource Allocation: No more money spent on IT programming. You can use that money to hire a good copywriter instead and boost the pulling power of your marketing messages.
It’s time to reveal three online tools that I use to quickly and easily build high-converting, professionally looking landing pages for opt-ins, webinars and events.
3 Online Marketing Tools To Easily Build Landing Pages
Tool #1: LeadPages
LeadPages is a fantastic software and marketing tool. The “world’s easiest landing page generator” allows you to easily turn any page into an optin, sales or webinar page. The landing page builder enables you to integrate all major email service providers: aWeber, Mailchimp, GetResponse, ConstantContact, InfusionSoft, HubSpot, SalesForce… just to name a few.
Furthermore, you can publish your landing pages to Facebook, WordPress or your own server with the click of a button. You can check your performance (e.g. conversion rates, unique visitors) and do split tests to find out what really works for your audience.
And here comes one of the biggest benefits of using LeadPages:
The pages load incredibly fast because they are hosted on Google servers. It’s the fastest, most reliable hosting to boost conversions.

Tool #2: OptimizePress 2.0
OptimizePress 2.0 was launched in August 2013. OP comes in both WordPress Theme and Plugin formats. If you already have a theme you like, you can use the plugin version of OP.
Tip: Prior to installing OptimizePress as a plugin, make sure your theme is compatible with it.
So, what can you do with OptimizePress?
Well, you can build landing pages, webinar pages and product launch funnels.
The cool thing about OP is that you can protect your content in secure membership portals. Once you install OP, you don’t need an additional membership plugin.
Similar to LeadPages, OP integrates perfectly with major email service providers such as aWeber, Malchimp, iContact, GetResponse, InfusionSoft etc. thus enabling you to have your buyers added to your email lists automatically.
Tool #3: Landing Page WordPress Themes
If you don’t want to mess around with 3rd party marketing tools (apps / software) or install additional plugins, you can pick a WordPress theme & template that does the job. Disable the header and navigation bar at the top to narrow visitors’ options and you’re good to go.
Tip: Spend a few dollars on a well-designed, mobile-responsive theme that provides frequent updates and comes with a great support team. This is certainly not the place to be cheap and frugal.
The two resources I use to purchase my own themes are: Themeforest and Elegant Themes.
For around $50 per year you get a professional looking, mobile-responsive theme that gets frequently updated. Most themes come in different layouts and color schemes.
Check email integration options and plugin compatibility prior to purchasing a specific theme or template.
