With only a couple of days until Christmas, I thought I’d share with you two of this years most sentimental holiday ad campaigns. They both come from major brands all of us are certainly familiar with.
While some of us are still involved into last-minute Christmas shopping others are preparing lots of goodies for family and friends. But December is more than a hot shopping season, it’s the time when loads of unique campaigns are launched from brands all over the world.
One of these memorable Christmas specials comes from tech giant Apple. The following touching spot, shows once again, how well the company understands to focus on human spirit in their marketing campaigns.

More and more companies are expanding their focus from products to consumers to human spirit marketing. This ad shows clearly why Apple is ahead of the competition when it comes to linking the benefits of its products to human emotions – the driving forces behind any buying decision.
Have you payed attention to the song in this commercial? “Have Yourself a Merry Christmas” enhances the experience and adds that personal touch Apple is so well-known for using in its ad campaigns.
The second heartwarming and sentimental holiday commercial comes from John Lewis. It’s an animated Christmas special that reminds me of all those amazing old-school Disney films. Similar to Apple, this commercial also uses music to perfection. The title of the song is “Somewhere Only We Know” performed by Lily Allen. Enjoy!
