The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People
Habit #7 RENEWAL – Sharpen The Saw
The seventh habit is taking time to renew the greatest asset you have = YOU.
Habit 7 refers to renewing your physical, mental, spiritual and social/emotional self. This last habit surrounds the other six habits and makes them possible.
“We can’t effectively thrive without making money, but that’s not sufficient reason for organizational existence. We can’t live without eating, but we don’t live to eat” says Stephen Covey.
Krisz’s note: Progress can’t be made except by a steady, long continued process. Taking time to nurture your body and soul is vital. The greatest business ideas pop up when the mind is renewed, and full of power and energy. Financial freedom means having the power to produce wealth.
“Being highly effective as individuals and organizations is no longer optional in today’s world – it’s the price of entry to the playing field. But surviving, thriving, innovating, excelling and leading in this new reality will require us to build on and reach beyond effectiveness. The call and need of a new era is for fulfillment” says Stephen Covey.
Remember, real change comes from the inside out.
