Facebook, YouTube, Twitter & Co. started out as true social community networks. However, today, with the level of censorship on the rise, legit businesses all over the world are forced to leave the platforms they’ve put their souls into as well as vast amounts of time, money and effort in over the past years.

Joe Rogan leaving YouTube’s party and moving all his assets over to Spotify is only the tip of the iceberg. As I mentioned in my previous blog post “When You Hand Your Power Over to Social Media Tech Giants”, Brian Rose’s high-quality podcast show LondonReal was banned from several traditional social media platforms because he had the guts to interview people with different opinions and perspectives which don’t necessarily coincide with what we’re being fed on these platforms day in and day out.

Ultimately this led to Brian setting up his Digital Freedom Platform where you can watch all his interviews uncensored and in full length.

On the Lookout for Social Media Advertising Alternatives

Why should somebody like me look into alternatives such as blockchain social ads when I have a strong and successful Facebook advertising history? Why should somebody with a Social Advertising Academy who runs worldwide workshops, seminars and live events on how to run profitable ads on Facebook and Instagram transition to other channels?

Here’s my one-word answer to that: MISTRUST.

These networks are a part of my business but they’re not my foundation.

I would never build my business on ‘Facebook land’, just like I would never build my house on somebody else’s land.

On top of that, I have clients who were directly impacted by the decisions Facebook, YouTube & Co. have lately made on their networks.
